Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you (“you,” “Customer”) and AnchorMind (“we,” “us”) for the AnchorMind service, including the AI phone assistant Val. By signing up you agree to them.

1. What the service is

AnchorMind gives your business an AI assistant that answers your phone, takes the caller’s details, and books jobs on your calendar. Depending on your plan it may also route urgent calls to you, answer web chat, and send texts once carrier registration is complete. We provide you a phone number for Val to answer.

2. Plans and billing

3. Cancelling

You can cancel any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. There is no contract and no cancellation fee. Annual plans are refundable on a pro-rata basis for the unused whole months remaining, except where the guarantee in section 4 applies.

4. The guarantee

If, within your first 60 days, Val has not booked at least 5 calls on your schedule, you may request a full refund of what you have paid. There is no setup fee, no contract, and you can cancel any time. To qualify you must have forwarded your business line to Val for the whole period and kept your calendar availability current, so that she actually had the chance to book. Request it by email within 14 days of the 60-day period ending.

5. Your phone number

6. What you are responsible for

We are not your lawyer. Nothing here is legal advice. Recording, disclosure and messaging rules vary by state and change. If you are unsure what applies to your business, get advice before going live.

7. What we are responsible for

We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care, and try to keep it available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. Phone networks, carriers and AI systems fail sometimes. Val is an assistant, not a guarantee that no call is ever missed, and not a substitute for emergency services.

Val is software. She can misunderstand a caller, mishear an address, or book a time incorrectly. You are responsible for reviewing the jobs she books.

8. Emergencies

AnchorMind is not an emergency service and cannot call 911. Val is instructed to tell callers reporting a gas smell to leave the building and call their gas company. You must not present Val to your customers as an emergency line.

9. Third-party services

The service runs on third-party platforms including Twilio (phone service), LiveKit, Deepgram and xAI (the voice assistant), Fly.io (hosting), Resend (email) and Stripe (payments). Their outages, changes or policies may affect the service. We are not liable for their acts or omissions, and your use of the service is also subject to their acceptable-use rules.

10. Your data

You own your business data and your caller data. We process it to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can request an export or deletion at any time.

11. Suspension

We may suspend an account for non-payment, for unlawful use, or where a carrier or vendor requires it. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first.

12. Disclaimers and limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to you at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts located there will have exclusive jurisdiction.
